The Select Finance Committee consists of a group of meetings used for the discussion and decision-making process for the 2022 budget. This is the basis for the development of the Five-Year Financial Plan Bylaw, which is an annual requirement for municipalities in accordance with the Local Government Act and the Community Charter. As per the Charter, municipalities are required to adopt financial plans before adopting the annual tax rate bylaws on May 15th of each year.
Please Note: Seating in Council Chambers is currently limited and will be socially distanced as outlined in the District of Sicamous' COVID-19 Safety Plan. Delegations appearing before Council will be seated first, followed by the viewing public on a first-come, first-served basis. As per the Order of the Provincial Health Officer, masks are mandatory for anyone five years of age or older who is attending in person. Contact tracing is also in effect.
