The District of Sicamous will be hosting the Ketlic Festival in partnership with Splatsin on September 30, 2022 to acknowledge and honour the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

'Ketlic', which means to be invited to another community for a party or feast in Secwépemctsín, has been chosen as this name to represent the gathering that will share ways of cultural and artistic expression and offer an interactive experience for those who attend.

Splatsin and Sicamous are working together to plan the gathering and more information will be shared as details are finalized.
