In Sicamous we are energized by natural beauty, and relish it with passion. Sicamous will never be described as a “sleepy little town”, there’s simply too much to do. And we do it all. Known as the Houseboat Capital of Canada, Sicamous attracts an excess of 40,000 people who come to vacation on our lakes, and an additional 15,000 residents make the community their home during the summer season.

Winter in Sicamous

In the winter, our community is home to multiple winter sporting activities thanks to our central location bordered by four mountain ranges – Owls Head, Queest, Eagle Valley Pass, Blue Lake and Hunters Range. Voted Best Snowmobiling in Western Canada, Sicamous attracts winter adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts who come to enjoy snow shoeing on local trails and downhill skiing at resorts in the area.
