Community members are invited to join in honouring the life of former Fire Chief Brett Ogino on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
The procession will begin at 2 p.m. on Main Street (Shuswap Avenue), followed by a memorial service at Eagle River Secondary School. If the weather allows, attendees are encouraged to arrive on foot in consideration of limited parking at the school.
This traditional fire service will pay tribute to Fire Chief Ogino’s 28 years of dedicated service and the lasting contributions he made to Sicamous throughout his life. For those who wish to offer support, a GoFundMe has been created in his honour.
