If you find yourself in need of a place to escape the heat this week, the District of Sicamous is opening Council Chambers (446 Main Street) as a cooling centre for the community between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. during the heat wave. The space is air conditioned and cold water will be made available.
