Notice of Public Hearings: OCP and Zoning Amendments

Public hearings will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at 5 p.m. in council chambers (District of Sicamous Municipal Hall, 446 Main Street, Sicamous, BC, V0E 2V0) to consider District of Sicamous Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw No. 1076, Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1077 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 1081.

Bylaw No. 1076

Proposes to redesignate the subject property, legally described as AMENDED LOT 2 (DD C25018F) DISTRICT LOT 452 KAMLOOPS DIVISION YALE DISTRICT PLAN 8263 (1133 Shuswap Avenue), from the current Town Centre to Residential Low Density to accommodate siting of a detached accessory dwelling unit.

Bylaw No. 1077

Proposes to rezone the subject property, legally described as AMENDED LOT 2 (DD C25018F) DISTRICT LOT 452 KAMLOOPS DIVISION YALE DISTRICT PLAN 8263 (1133 Shuswap Avenue), from C-1 Local and Town Centre Commercial to R-1 General Residential to facilitate a building permit application.

Bylaw No. 1081

Proposes to rezone the subject property, legally described as
DISTRICT LOT 452 KAMLOOPS DIVISION YALE DISTRICT
STRATA PLAN KAS3317 (1209 Riverside Avenue), from C-4 Tourist
Accommodation - Resort to MUR-2 Seasonal Accommodation to
better align with the existing development.

If you believe your interest in property is affected by the proposed bylaws, you may be heard at the public hearing or submit written comments. Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, to be included on the meeting agenda.

  • Hand delivered to 446 Main Street, Sicamous, B.C.
