The Saturday Afterhours Clinic launched on October 7, 2023. The walk-in only clinic is open on Saturdays, typically from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., and offers urgent primary care and same-day access to patients. The clinic operates from various offices depending on the staff operating the clinic.

This initiative is supported by a variety of healthcare operators in Salmon Arm and area and was created to support the emergency department at Shuswap Lake Hospital.

Dr. Edmondson and nurse practitioner Jennifer Post-Balfour will be part of the rotation on behalf of the Sicamous Community Health Centre.
