Sicamous Communities in Bloom submitted a showcase entry last month highlighting two local initiatives!
First to be featured by the submission is the incredible new Heritage Walking Tour, which is delivered through the "On This Spot" app. The tour includes storyboards at each location, offering an accessible, historical story of Sicamous to residents and visitors delivered through a combination of technology and storytelling.
The second part of the submission showcases the Sicamous Health Centre Community Art Boards, which represent themes of healing, balance and nature. Hung near the Sek'emaws (Sicamous) Health Centre, the banners were designed with Indigenous motifs to highlight the health centre's design themes of water, air, mountains and healing.
