Are backyard chickens allowed in Sicamous?
According to Zoning Bylaw No. 1100, 2024, urban hens can be kept in all zones outside of the Agricultural Land Reserve, as long as:
- No roosters are kept;
- Hens are provided a coop;
- Hens do not run at large outside of parcel lines; and
- There are no more than four hens per parcel.
