The public is invited to join the District on Earth Day - April 22, 2022 - to celebrate the Community Bio-Heat Project which will aid in the production of clean energy and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the community. 

This project has been made possible with the support of federal, provincial and regional partners. In September, Council awarded the project design to Fink Machine Inc. based out of Enderby, B.C. Phase 1 of the project is set to begin next month.
