With summer right around the corner, we want to share a few reminders about Public Wharf Regulation Bylaw No. 1066, 2025.
Our public wharves are shared spaces, and time limits help keep them open and accessible for everyone heading out on the water this season. Here's what to keep in mind:
- Two-hour limit at Main Street Landing. Vessels moored at or next to the Main Street Landing Wharf can stay for up to two hours.
- No overnight mooring. Vessels cannot moor at or next to any wharf overnight(between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.).
- 15 minute limit at the Finlayson Street Dock The Finlayson Street Dock is reserved for active loading and unloading next to the boat launch, so mooring there is limited to 15 minutes.
A little courtesy goes a long way. Sticking to these limits helps make sure there's room for everyone to enjoy boating in Sicamous all summer long.
