We have exciting news – faster internet is on the horizon! Fibre Connect, a provider of fibre-optic technology, will begin installation in Sicamous during the first quarter of 2026.
Property owners will have the option to connect to high-speed fibre internet, offering faster internet speeds and improved security compared to traditional cable or copper networks.
Once the network is installed, TELUS will lease network capacity from Fibre Connect to deliver service to the community. When it’s time to decide whether you’d like a fibre connection to your home or business, Fibre Connect representatives will go door-to-door to provide more information and request your approval.
