The holiday season brings magic and joy, but can also amplify times of hardship for families and individuals. We are so thankful for the generosity of our community, and wanted to share some ways that you can GIVE MORE this holiday season.

A Message from the Eagle Valley Community Support Society
Dear Community Member,
Right now, our food bank shelves are lower than we’d like.
And more people than ever are coming through our doors asking for help. Some are families we’ve seen before.
Others are brand new — people who never imagined they’d need a food bank.
Parents. Seniors. Folks who live just down the road.
They come quietly, hoping we’ll have something to offer. We want to say yes to all of them — but we can’t do that alone.
If you’re in a position to give this Christmas, I hope you will. Even a small gift can go a long way.
For years, food banks like ours have asked for canned goods and pantry items — and we’re grateful for every donation.
But this year, more than anything, we need financial gifts.
That’s because when you give money, we can buy exactly what’s needed, in larger quantities, and often at lower cost.
Sometimes we work with other food banks across BC to buy in bulk, which helps your donation go further than it would at the store.
It also helps us get food out faster — to the people and places that need it most.
Would you consider sending a donation today — to help restock the shelves and support someone this Christmas?
Your gift will help:
- Buy more food, at better prices — through bulk purchasing
- Restock shelves right here in our community
- Keep food moving — with the trucks, tools, and volunteers it takes
People in our community have always looked out for each other. When someone’s in a tough spot, we show up.
If you’re able, please complete the the fillable form and return it to EVCSS in person or by email at info@eaglevalleysupport.ca. Send a donation before Christmas.
With so much gratitude,
Allan J. Bartolcic (MBA, MA)

P.S. Your donation helps make sure someone doesn’t go without food this Christmas. If you’re able to give before December 19th, we’ll put your gift to work right away — where it’s needed most.
