We are proud to celebrate a major milestone for Lieutenant Craig Ludman, who has officially completed his IFSAC ProBoard Firefighter Certification. This certification meets national standards under NFPA 1001 and covers everything from firefighting fundamentals to hazardous materials response.

With this achievement, Lieutenant Ludman is now certified in:

• Firefighter I & II, including fire suppression, ladder operations, rescue tactics and leading team-based responses

• Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations, including identifying hazards, using protective equipment and working safely at hazmat scenes

This level of training ensures that our members are well-prepared to respond to emergencies here in Sicamous and beyond.

But Lieutenant Ludman isn’t stopping there... He’s already enrolled in the Fire Officer I program, which will help build his leadership skills in areas like crew management, inspections, incident command, and training delivery.
