On January 17, we were thrilled to welcome the Honourable Brittny Anderson, Minister of State for Local Governments and Rural Communities, to Sicamous. During her visit, Minister Anderson toured the Sicamous Health Centre and joined in productive conversations about advancing our community’s priorities.

Minister Anderson serves as the key point of contact for local governments bringing concerns, suggestions or feedback to the provincial government. Her mandate includes working with rural communities to identify unique needs and opportunities for places like Sicamous to grow and thrive.

Meetings with provincial representatives are key to advancing Sicamous' priorities and advocating for positive growth. The District of Sicamous is grateful for the opportunity to represent the vision of our community and show off everything Sicamous has to offer.
