The District of Sicamous is seeking a casual Operations Operator to join the public works team on an as-needed basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager or designate, this unionized position is primarily responsible for the safe and proficient operation of a variety of equipment used in the construction, maintenance and repair of District infrastructure and public spaces. The position operates equipment such as backhoes, loaders, tractors, trucks and lawn equipment and performs routine equipment servicing and minor repairs.
