Sicamous is a place where everyone should be able to take part fully, whether that means getting around town, using municipal services, joining a community event or simply feeling welcome in the spaces we all share. Making that a reality starts with understanding where the barriers are.
The Regional Accessibility Survey will help guide this process, shape priorities, identify barriers and create solutions that reflect the lived experiences within our region.
How to take part
The survey launched on June 15, 2026 and takes about five minutes to complete. You can find it through the CSRD Connect Engagement Platform:

Background
The District of Sicamous is part of a Regional Accessibility Advisory Committee, working alongside the Columbia Shuswap Regional District, the Town of Golden, the City of Revelstoke and the City of Salmon Arm. Together, we are building a shared vision and developing plans to remove barriers across the region. The recommendations from this committee will shape an accessibility plan for each community, including ours.
