Blasting work on the R.W. Bruhn Bridge has been interrupted by weather, and the road is not yet secured to open safely for traffic.

The construction area will remain closed today and is now scheduled to reopen at 3 p.m. On Wednesday, June 17.  Travellers are asked to use Highway 97 as an alternate route.

Local access is available to Old Sicamous Road and Old Spallumcheen Road as needed after 3 p.m.
