It’s time to start thinking about spring clean-up! Did you that our crew sweeps and polishes all 89 lane kilometres of roadways in Sicamous? This will take us a few weeks.
Our new street sweeper (purchased in 2024) is hitting the streets to clear winter sand and debris.
The Street Sweeping Process
- High-traffic areas, hills and collector roads will be swept first.
- Residential areas will follow.
- The sweeping process will continue over the next few weeks, depending on weather conditions.
We Need Your Help!
- Park vehicles off of the road when sweepers are in your area.
- Move items like basketball hoops and hockey nets away from the curb.
