Attention, motorists and mariners! There will be traffic and boat launch interruptions on September 11 as the BC 55+ Games triathlon takes place in Sicamous.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on September 11, Old Town Road will allow eastbound traffic only. This will also be the case on Sicamous-Solsqua Road from Old Town Road to Samuelson Road. Please note that the only way for westbound traffic to access Sicamous is via the Trans Canada Highway 1. The Old Town Bay Marina and boat launch will be closed for the duration of the event.
