Highway 1 remains closed east of the R.W. Bruhn Bridge until further notice. Please check DriveBC for the latest information. The next update is scheduled for 9 a.m. on April 12. Local road access only within Sicamous is being maintained by escort.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Highway 1 will remain closed this afternoon. Please continue to check DriveBC for updates on when the highway will re-open.

- Local traffic can still access Old Spallumcheen Road.
- There is currently no access to Old Bruhn Road and Old Sicamous Road. The contractor will provide updated information to affected residents.
