Ebru, also known as paper marbling, is a traditional Turkish artform that involves creating colourful
patterns on paper or fabric by floating pigments on the surface of a liquid bath. The term "Ebru" is
derived from the Turkish word "ebri," meaning cloud, reflecting the ethereal and fluid nature of
the designs.
Ebru has a rich history and has spread to different cultures, captivating art enthusiasts with its
harmonious blend of color, form and water-based techniques.
